Terms of Use
Last updated: October 27, 2026
These terms apply when you use dtcc.ca, including the application at dtcc.ca/apply/. The service is provided by DTC Assistance Programs (“we”, “us”) in British Columbia. By using it, you agree to these terms.
What the service does
You answer questions about the applicant. We use your answers to complete Form T2201, the Disability Tax Credit Certificate, and to prepare a note for the medical professional and a page of the benefits the applicant may receive.
- A medical professional must review Part B, change anything they need to, and certify it.
- The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) decides who is eligible. No one can promise approval.
- We are not part of the CRA. We do not give medical, legal or tax advice.
Who can use it
The service may be used by the applicant, or by a parent, legal guardian or other legal representative completing the application for the applicant. If you complete it for someone else, you confirm that you are allowed to act for them.
Your answers
You are responsible for making sure your answers are true and complete. Review the completed application before you sign it and send it to the CRA.
Fee and payment
The fee is a one-time payment of $49 (Canadian dollars) for one applicant's application, paid through Stripe before you download it. We do not take a percentage of any refund or benefit. Some medical professionals charge a fee to complete and sign the form. That fee is separate from ours and is paid to them.
Our guarantee
- Appeal help. If the CRA does not approve the application, send us the CRA's letter. We help you and the medical professional with the appeal, at no charge.
- Refund. If the applicant is still not approved after the appeal, we refund the full $49. Email assistance@dtcc.ca with a copy of the CRA's letter denying the appeal, within 90 days of receiving that letter. The refund is paid to the original payment method.
- Re-applying. If the CRA asks the applicant to qualify again and we prepared the original application, there is no additional fee.
The guarantee covers our fee only. It does not cover fees charged by medical professionals or anyone else.
Your documents
The completed documents are for the applicant's own Disability Tax Credit application. Please do not resell them or use the service to prepare applications for others as a business. The content and design of this website belong to us.
Limits on our responsibility
We work to make the service accurate and available, but it is provided as is. We are not responsible for decisions made by the CRA, for fees charged by others, or for delays outside our control. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to the fee you paid us.
Changes
We may update the service or these terms. If we change these terms, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. The terms in place when you paid apply to your purchase.
Law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
